Laura has always played sport from a young age, playing national league basketball fro a number of years. Laura also developed a love for the gym and weight training during this time.
Laura went on to study sport at university gaining a degree from Loughborough and completing an internship with Sport981 where she gained her NASM qualifications and worked towards uksca accreditation as well as attending an Olympic weightlifting workshop. She worked as a personal trainer with a variety of clients.
Laura then had a baby and it was then she realised there wasn't much information available for women that wanted to continue to train in pregnancy and postnatally. She then gained a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach to help bridge the gap between traditional preg/post exercise like yoga & pilates and getting back to exercise and strength training.
